Before playing the Flyers outside on Monday, the Rangers got their licks against the Panthers with a 4-1 win at Florida. Carl Hagelin scored his third goal in his last four games and added an assist to back Henrik Lundqvist, who made 27 saves. Hagelin didn't waste any time, either -- he scored 35 seconds into the game. Brad Richards, Michael Del Zotto and Brandon Dubinsky also scored. The Rangers have won six of seven and will play at Citizens Bank Park (home of the Phillies) on Monday. Ryan McDonagh had two assists. The Rangers have an Eastern Conference-best 50 points.

Deron Williams looked better -- he scored 23 points -- and MarShon Brooks had another strong night (21 points), but the Nets still fell to the Hawks, 105-98. After rallying to win their opener against the Wizards, the Nets have lost three straight. This meeting was much different from the 36-point blowout the Hawks scored earlier this week. Brooks even cut the game to a one-point margin with slightly more than two minutes to go before the Hawks pulled away
