R.A. Dickey is a lot better than his 8-11 record indicates. His 3.46 ERA is in the Top-20 in the NL. Dickey pitched another gem on Wednesday, allowing only four hits and three walks over seven innings as the Mets beat Florida 1-0. Dickey's pitching made Lucas Duda's RBI double in the first inning stand up. Duda drove in Jose Reyes with the only run of the game. Josh Stinson and Manny Acosta made it stand up as he earned his first save of the year.

The Yankees fielded a spring training lineup to start the game and ultimately fell 5-4 to the Orioles. Baltimore pushed across a run in the top of the 11th to win the game and leave the Yankees with a 5-1 record on the homestand.
