Cano’s single capped a great day at the Stadium and the fans didn’t want to leave, staying for multiple choruses of “New York, New York”. It’s all over tomorrow with the last game ever at Yankee Stadium.
  • Atlanta 4 Mets 2: The good news is that the Cubs clinched the division tonight. That means Chicago won’t have much to play for when they visit Shea this week. For now, the Mets have bigger things to worry about, the Phillies took back first place. But, on the plus side, Milwaukee lost again and it really looks like the Mets will have the Wild Card to fall back on if they don’t win the division.
