When the Islanders met the Penguins in February, the teams set all kinds of records for fighting. For the 10,681 fans who put up with Uniondale and Nassau Coliseum on Tuesday, they were rewarded with no Islanders goals and no fights. The Penguins easily handled the Islanders, 3-0. Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury had all the answers for John Tavares and company. The Islanders lost despite outshooting the Penguins in both the first and second periods. They are 3-4-0 through seven games and get the Penguins again (this time in Pittsburgh) on Thursday.

In Los Angeles, the Devils did something that no other team had done against the Kings in 221 minutes, 22 seconds: score a goal. Dainius Zubrus had two goals and Patrik Elias scored once to back a Johan Hedburg shutout as the Devils won, 3-0, for their second win over the Kings in a month.
