• Yankees 11, Orioles 3: CC Sabathia can now add 20-game winner to his resume, which already includes a line for World Series champion and Cy Young Award winner. Win No. 20 could help Sabathia earn another Cy Young trophy -- though Felix Hernandez's ERA, strikeout, walk and innings totals should have something to say about that. Saturday's win served as a good representation of many of Sabathia's victories this season. The Yankees scored in five of the firs six innings and seven of nine frames overall. Robinson Cano went 3-for-4 with a homer and Brett Gardner finished a homer short of the cycle. Sabathia walked one and struck out four, allowing three runs in seven innings. The Rays came from behind to beat the Angels and stay a half-game behind the Yankees.
  • Braves 4, Mets 2: The Mets couldn't play spoiler on Saturday. The Braves, who could make the playoffs as the wild card or National League East champions, picked up their second straight win over the Mets. Dillon Gee struck out three and walked three in seven innings of three-run ball. Luis Hernandez broke his foot and then hit a home run -- and then left the game -- and Jose Reyes also went deep.
