Magic 91, Nets 90: Jameer Nelson hit a fadeaway baseline jumper with just 4.1 seconds remaining to beat the Nets in Newark. The game-winning shot came after Nelson missed two free-throws that would have put Orlando up by 3 with 19 seconds left in the game. After his misses, Brook Lopez sank two free-throws of his own to give the Nets the lead with 11.5 seconds remaining. Devin Harris led the Nets with 26 points and 8 assists in the loss.

Kings 5, Islanders 1: Anze Kopitar scored two goals for Los Angeles in the first period to give them a quick lead. Rob Schremp scored his first goal of the season in the first as well, but that's all the Islanders would get. The Kings added another goal in the second period and two more in the third.
