Jets 26, Browns 20: The Jets played their second overtime game in two weeks and won yet again. This time, New York won with just 24 seconds left in OT on a 37-yard touchdown pass from Mark Sanchez to Santonio Holmes. Jets kicker Nick Folk missed three field goals in the game, including one in overtime. Sanchez was 27 or 44 in passing with 299 yards and two touchdowns as well as one rushing TD. The Jets improve to 7-2 with the win and are tied with two other teams for the best record in the NFL.
Cowboys 33, Giants 20: With Jason Garret as their interim head coach and Jon Kitna at quarterback, the Cowboys came into the New Meadowlands Stadium and exacted their revenge against the Giants just three weeks after the Giants won in Dallas. The lights at the stadium literally went out in the 3rd quarter when power was interrupted to the two feeders into the stadium. The game was delayed by 8 minutes. The power outage wasn't enough to stop the Cowboys, who won for just the 2nd time this season. The Giants are now 6-3.
Rangers 8, Oilers 2: In his second game back from a shoulder injury, Marian Gaborik had a hat trick, his first goals of the season. Halfway through the 3rd, a huge brawl came after a fight between Sean Avery and Ladislav Smid.
Rockets 104, Knicks 96: The Knicks lost their 5th straight game to a Houston team without starters Yao Ming and Aaron Brooks.
