New England 45 Jets 3: It was a humiliating night in Foxboro. The Jets were completely stymied in the first half, falling behind 24-3, and things didn't get any better in the second half as the Patriots scored 21 more points in a drubbing of the Jets. In what was billed as a battled for the AFC, the Patriots seemed to assert their dominance in the victory. Tom "I wear Uggs and have hair plugs" Brady was 21 for 29 with 326 yards and four TDs. BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed for a mere 72 yards, but had two touchdowns. Mark Sanchez threw three interceptions, including one on the Jets opening drive of the second half. It was the worst loss for the Jets since 1986.
Knicks 121 Minnesota 114: This time Kevin Love “only” scored 33 points and “only” pulled down 15 rebounds. But more importantly, this time the Knicks beat a bad team. They did so thanks to another huge game from Amar’e Stoudemire who poured in 34 points. Raymond Felton had a double-double with 18 points and 11 assists while Landry Fields pulled down 10 rebounds.
Pittsburgh 2 New Jersey 1: Johan Hedberg made 32 saves, but the Devils simply couldn’t crack Marc-Andre Fleury. Brian Rolston had the lone goal for New Jersey.
