Philly scored to tie the game in the second period and then went ahead 3-2 on a Mike Richards goal to start the third. The Flyers opened a two-goal lead midway through the third period, but Patrik Elias brought the Devils to within one in the final minute. Philadelphia added an empty-net goal to complete the scoring.
