Entering 2010, Jose Bautista had never hit more than 16 home runs in a season. After hitting two -- to account for all three Blue Jays runs on Monday, he now has 40. Ivan Nova pitched well in his Major League debut, but not well enough as the Yankees fell, 3-2, in the opener of a three-game set in Toronto. In between his home runs, Bautista took exception to a fastball up and in from Nova. Both benches and bullpens emptied, but no punches were thrown. The Yankees got their runs on RBI doubles from Robinson Cano and Jorge Posada. David Robertson, who allowed the second Bautista homer, gave up his first run in 19 appearances and took the loss.
