• Philadelphia 107 Knicks 97: It was another night where the defense didn’t show up for the Knicks. Philadelphia took advantage of that to shoot over 50% from the field. For New York, the good news was the return of Danilo Gallinari, who played for the first time since October. Gallinari played a solid 15 minutes, scoring six points. New York took him with the sixth pick of last year’s draft, so they will keep their fingers crossed that he develops as they expected.
  • Boston 105 Nets 85: When you trail by 29 points at halftime, you just hope to make the game respectable. The Nets didn’t really do that, but they did play better in the second half when Vince Carter and Devin Harris were benched. Brook Lopez had a double-double with 28 points and 10 rebounds.
  • Devils 3 Islanders 1: Travis Zajac scored a short-handed goal in the first period and the Devils never looked back. The Islanders tried to rally, getting 33 shots on goal, but Scott Clemmensen turned aside all but one. The win keeps New Jersey in the thick of the Atlantic Division race.
