• Knicks 100, Nets 93: No Stephon Marbury, and the Knicks take down the Nets. Of course, the Nets didn't have Jason Kidd (headache), so who knows which team was worse off. Richard Jefferson's heroics couldn't get the job done for the Nets, who continue to play inexplicably poorly at home following road games. Jamal Crawford filled the backcourt "void" for the Knicks with 29 points, and Zach Randolph had 25. Richard Jefferson had 31 points in the loss.

  • Devils 4, Bruins 3 (OT): Patrick Elias scored twice -- including the game-winner in overtime -- and the Devils won their eighth straight game. No team in the NHL is hotter, though Dallas is close. Zach Parise has been a driving force. Like Elias, he had two goals Wednesday and now has 14 on the season. Martin Brodeur had 23 saves.

  • Thrashers 4, Islanders 3 (SO): After allowing three straight goals, the Islanders rallied to send the game to overtime. Too bad they were outplayed in the shootout. Miroslav Satan and Bill Guerin couldn't find the netting, and Rick DiPietro got beaten twice. The Islanders will take their point and move on to Florida.
