The Giants squeaked out a win they desperately needed 20-17 over Miami on Sunday. New York fell behind 14-3 in the first half, but rallied to within 4 on a touchdown pass from Eli Manning to Mario Manningham right before the half. The two teams traded field goals before Eli Manning found Victor Cruz on a 25-yard touchdown pass to complete the scoring.

The win improves the Giants' record to 5-2. It's the seventh time they have reached that mark in Tom Coughlin's eight seasons as coach. But, the schedule is about to get incredibly difficult. New York has a game in New England next week, followed by games against San Francisco, Philadelphia, New Orleans and Green Bay. If they don't figure out a way to play better than they did Sunday, 5-2 could easily turn into 5-6.
