Tonight, the Knicks face off against the Miami Heat, led by supreme Decision maker LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, at Madison Square Garden tonight. And, after the home team's hot streak of late (before the heartbreaker against the Celtics, at least), fans are hopeful. Spike Lee, uber-fan (and Google enthusiast and Brooklyn sellout to some), confidently told the Daily News, "We're gonna kick LeBron's ass. We're going to win them all. It's like the old days."
Some tickets for tonight's game were as high as $79,000 on Stubhub.com, not that those necessarily will sell for that much. So far, the most expensive ticket sold on the site has been a courtside seat for $5,264. One Knicks fan told the News he loves the team but "the most I would spend is $150."
As for the King, he got a taste what life in NYC could have been—last night he hosted a party at 1Oak with guests like Dwayne, Gabrielle Union, Knicks star Amare Stoudemire, Kanye's ex Amber Rose, the Jets' Braylon Edwards, and, um, Ronnie from the Jersey Shore. He also thinks Stoudemire is doing pretty well!
