Finally, a use for cans of ravioli besides nourishment: The Post reports that 18-year-old Ashley Hanley was arrested after an altercation with her father over a remote control... an altercation that involved the canned goods as well as electronics.
The Post reports that the Bronx teen "first hurled a can of ravioli at her dad, 61, at 2 p.m. Nov. 3 in the family’s home on Swinton Avenue in Schuylerville... She then allegedly shattered a Playstation gaming console on the floor and fired the remote, striking her father in the left eye." Finally, the irate teen allegedly yelled, "I’m gonna go across town and get some people and come back and destroy your cars!”
Hanley was charged with assault, harassment and criminal mischief, the records show.
