The case of the Taubs may have set precedent for another Brooklyn couple. A judge has ordered Orthodox Jewish couple Pinchs and Nechama Gold to build a wall through their home as they go through their divorce. Nechama claims Pinchus verbally abuses her and their children, and even blows out their Shabbos candles. Meanwhile, Pinchus claims Nechama hides his medication, and that he never abused her. He told the Post, "If she's so religious, why does she refuse to get divorced the right way—in a beth din?" Pinchs' brother, a Rabbi, says the wall is a pretty good idea. "This could be called the 'Divorce Wall.' It could probably even help healthy couples." Of course, no blissful domestic partnership is complete without a Perfect Marriage Moat!
