The former drummer of the ska band The Toasters is drawing attention these days for a unique blend of election year bipartisanship: a resemblance to Barack Obama and the name John McCain. This McCain though is a guaranteed vote for Obama as he tells the NY Daily News that he first became aware of the Arizona senator when he learned that McCain was voting against making Martin Luther King's birthday a national holiday. He says he was appalled that they shared the name. He claims that he has never used the name to any unfair advantage except when calling in talk radio shows: "Once I mention that I'm interracial and my name is John McCain, they put me right through."
