A 4 train rider was attacked after reportedly objecting to another passenger slapping Infowars stickers on a subway train. Security camera footage released by the NYPD shows the alleged assailant was wearing a Trump-Pence T-shirt.
The assault took place around 4:50 p.m. on June 4th. Police say a 52-year-old man was punched in the face after a verbal dispute on a southbound 4 train at Centre Street and Chambers Street.
A police source tells the NY Post that during the argument, the assailant yelled, "You’re a coward!" and also shouted an anti-gay slur.
The victim suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention while the Infowars fan headed to a southbound J train.
The NYPD described the suspect as being 25-30 years old and 6' tall, with blonde hair and a slim build. The authorities also released security camera footage, which showed him wearing the Trump-Pence shirt, black pants, black shoes, and carrying a black bag.
