A Brooklyn man was arrested yesterday for allegedly selling cocaine and Oxycodone from the window of his Bay Ridge-based ice cream truck, having apparently sold around 13 grams of coke to an undercover cop last month.
According to the Post, 20-year-old Mina Gatas arranged his own trap. "Our undercover officer was doing an investigation and he struck up a conversation with the defendant in the deli,” a spokesman for District Attorney Charles Hynes told the tabloid. “The defendant told him, ‘I can get you narcotics.’ They exchanged phone numbers and set up a buy.”
Gatas also allegedly sold dope to an undercover cop on July 1 outside his other job at a deli. Gatas was arraigned this morning on $10,000 bail.
