Last night we started to receive reports of snow accumulating inside the subway stations, and that snow hasn't gone anywhere yet. More photos are coming in showing subway platforms, tracks, and stairs covered in snow. We're still waiting to hear from the MTA about how they handle this type of situation (apparently not with a shovel, sand, or salt!), and we'll update when/if we hear back. If you've spotted snow in the subway, send us a photo or tag your photos "Gothamist" on Flickr... but Metrocard holder beware, you may just want to avoid the subway anyway.
