With mass transit barely existing even when it was slowly returning last week, it was difficult (if not impossible) for many New Yorkers to get to work.
We've received a few emails about how employers have been handling the storm—from asking employees to come in even if it meant three hours of waiting in line for a bus, to mandating the use of sick or vacation days if employees couldn't get to the office.
Today, the MTA's Adam Lisberg even addressed the situation, and Tweeted: "Employers MUST be flexible on start/end times. System still below capacity."
