Last summer, a pit bull puppy was cruelly thrown from a moving car in Long Island—history repeated itself this week, when a yellow lab puppy was thrown from a moving car in Fayette County, Pa. The pup was brought to rescue group Fayette Friends of Animals after a woman found the injured pup in her yard—he suffered several broken bones and bruised paws and shoulders, and had asphalt embedded in his skin.
“It’s sad and amazing at the same time. When there are animals that aren’t wanted there’s plenty of loving homes they can be taken to,” Fayette Friends of Animals volunteer Cathy Vrabel told WPIX. The puppy, who has been nicknamed Frankie, has a lot of recovery ahead, but it expected to heal. After that, he'll be available for adoption, wink wink nudge nudge.
