The Giants travel to Philadelphia today to get their first look at their bitter, ascendent rivals. While the Giants were routinely criticized for their offseason (or lack of one) the Eagles were praised effusively for theirs. And despite a tough loss in Atlanta last week, they look pretty good. They came very close to beating the Falcons in Atlanta even without MIchael Vick at the end of the game and they destroyed the Giants' last opponent, St. Louis, 31-13.

Contrast that with a Giants team that looked terrible in Week 1 and really was more lucky than good in a Week 2 loss. To add to the Giants' woes, Mario Manningham is most likely not going to be able to play and Domenik Hixon was placed on IR this week. Unless Manningham makes a remarkable recovery the Giants will have Hakeem Nicks and a lot of question marks at receiver.

Vick, despite being listed as questionable, is expected to play. Even without him the Eagles have too much talent on both sides of the ball to earn a victory in this game. A close loss is the best they can hope for and that is probably not going to happen.
