It looks like another storm system is headed our way, this time in the form of a Nor'easter bringing snow, rain and sleet. This time around, weather forecasts are calling for 1-2 inches of snow in the city starting as early as this evening. The snow will be followed by periods of freezing rain, rain, and sleet. The storm could bring much more snow for the rest of the tri-state area. Tomorrow's weather looks to be a steady diet of precipitation for the whole day with winds and temperatures in the 40s.
Just this past week, the city was supposed to get 2-4" of snow, but it was merely a dusting of the powdered stuff with rain and freezing rain. That didn't stop the TV stations from covering the potential storm extensively.
