The NYC Marathon is racing back into town this Sunday, November 1st, just in time to make your journey to post-Halloween hangover brunch a living nightmare. The course starts in Staten Island at 8:30 a.m. and moves up through Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan, making a quick visit to the Bronx before terminating at the south end of Central Park. To avoid becoming an inadvertent hurdle to some 50,000 runners, here's what streets to avoid for the day—be aware that at certain times, when the number of runners peaks, you will be unable to cross these streets, even on foot:
