Would you like to join the team here at Gothamist? We're looking to hire a full-time Sales/Operations Assistant, based in our office in DUMBO, Brooklyn, to help our advertising sales department. Here are the details:

The Sales/Operations Assistant will be responsible for maintaining ongoing advertising, preparing campaigns and invoicing for campaigns on Gothamist LLC's network of sites as well as assisting the sales team in everyday tasks. Previous assistants have gone on to positions of responsibility in both our sales and operations teams.

Salary: Competitive base salary and benefits.

Requirements: 



  • One or two years of experience in digital advertising experience is a plus, but not required. We're happy to train a person that's the right fit for our organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


  • Excellent computer skills including proficient knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint; knowledge of photo editing software is a plus


  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • BS/BA degree required
