NJ Transit says that a man suffered minor injuries in an incident with a Light Rail in Jersey City: According to the Jersey Journal, the man was "wearing headphones and did not see the Light Rail coming walked into the side of a moving train."

The victim was treated some some facial cuts after the 8:15 p.m. Friday incident, which occurred at Essex and Van Vorst Streets. There were slight delays to service.

Former State Senator Carl Kruger had proposed a bill to ban using headphones and cellphones while walking, citing an incident where a pedestrian was allegedly listening to his iPod when he was killed by a driver.
