The Giants may have a case of déjà vu heading into Sunday’s game. Once again a win means they are in the playoffs and once again they are face the prospect of adverse weather conditions.
But, the Bills are simply not a very good football team. They rank 30th in offense and defense and their 7-7 record is due to beating up on a weak schedule. That same criticism could be made of the Giants who have nine wins, but none against teams with a wining record. This is the type of game the Giants should win and almost have to win because the undefeated Patriots are up next.
Hopefully, Tom Coughlin learned last week that Eli Manning and his receivers do not play well in the wind and pounds the ball with Brandon Jacobs. Even better would be a look at Ahmad Bradshaw for a change of pace. Expect an ugly game, but a Giants victory in the end.
One footnote, both participants in the horrible accident that left Kevin Everett temporarily paralyzed will be at the game. Domenik Hixon, the mad Everett tackled is now a Giant and Everett, who beat all the odds by walking again, will be attending the game. Expect Everett to get a well-deserved and very emotional tribute before kickoff.
