A 29-year-old woman was arrested after driving her Jeep into a house in Queens on Monday afternoon. A 14-year-old boy was injured: "The debris fell on him, toppled on him," another teen in the Rochdale Village house told NBC New York.

The incident occurred just before 1:26 p.m., at 161-10 Baisley Boulevard. Police say Shanna Shaw drove a 2017 Jeep SUV through the attached garage and into the house, causing severe damage.

Another witness described finding Shaw. In a conversation with WABC 7, Jor-El Ramsey recounted, "I checked the car, and the lady was in there. At first, she was knocked out, so I checked to see if there was a pulse...and then I helped her get out of the car." He added, "She only had a bra and panties on. Yeah, that was a little awkward."

The teen inside the house said that Shaw was "just screaming, just screaming. No words at all."

PIX11 reports that its sources say Shaw spent "the day 'drinking and arguing with her family'" before getting behind the wheel.

The 14-year-old boy was treated for a laceration to the head. Shaw was taken to Jamaica Hospital. According to NBC New York, "The Department of Buildings said during investigation at the crash scene, they learned the home had been illegally converted and didn't have adequate egress. As a result, a partial vacate order was issued for the first floor and garage."

Shaw was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and driving while impaired.
