When we first glanced at this video clip this morning, we thought it might have been taken from the F-line near Smith & 9th Street-- but when we looked closer, we realized that we were waaaay off. Can any of you train nerds make the identification quicker than we did? It took us 15 seconds into the video before we were absolutely sure. First one to buzz in with the correct answer wins our hearty praise!
Somewhat but not-really related: Forgotten-NY has a great photoessay on the first 28 subway stations in New York. City Hall and Astor Place are probably the most beautiful, with their amazing mosaics and terra-cotta details, but all the stations are great.
