Shortly after police arrested 19-year-old Margaux for her role in allegedly luring an ex-boyfriend to be beaten by two men—who were armed with a baseball bat and pipe—Wyckoff, NJ police made two more arrests. And one of the arrestees is Tocci's current boyfriend!
The victim told police that he accepted Tocci's invitation to take a drive in her new car on Thursday night at around 10:30 p.m. According to police, after driving him to a high school, she suggested they go for a walk—and that's when the victim was beaten by two males armed with a bat and a pipe. Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin Fox said, "The men beat him as Tocci allegedly watched. The men took his wallet and removed the cash, as well as his cell phone [which] they smashed. The victim was left bleeding on the ground, and the men got into Tocci's car and she drove them away."
Toccci was arrested at 3 a.m. yesterday and was charged with robbery and theft. While she did not give any information about her alleged associates, police arrested Daniel Chaupiz, 20, who is Tocci's current boyfriend, charging him with robbery in the first-degree.
However, Chaupiz denies that he was involved. Cliffview Pilot reports that he is "an accused pot dealer out on bail after being arrested following a Fair Lawn robbery in March, a drunk driving arrest in April and a police chase in Wyckoff in May."
The third person arrested is Samer Suhaib Saleh, 25; according to Cliffview Pilot, he "is being held on $50,000 bail, charged with robbery by force." Chaupiz remains in custody on $100,000 bail while Tocci is free on $50,000 bail.
As for why Tocci is smiling so widely in her mugshot, Police Chief Fox said, "I have no explanation why the woman decided to photograph that way."
