Heavy snow and ice caused the glass ceiling at the Sony Building's atrium to fall, injuring 10 people who were there for a Purim party. Luckily, the injuries were described as minor—and the Daily News headlined its story, "'Jersey Shore's' Snooki and Chris Noth escape injury as Sony Plaza's roof collapses during party." Yes, Snooki and Mr. Big were in the same place!

Snooki, aka Nicoli Polizzi, Tweeted, "At purim before the roof collapsed lmao wtf . Its okay Vin and I are still alive" and "Omg roof just collapsed at the purim event! We thought the dj was beatin the beat hardcore but nope, the roof couldn't handle snooki and vin." Her Jersey Shore caste Vinny Guadagnino Tweeted, "Roof just collapsed at Purim event.... I think me and @sn00ki felt the wrath for not being Jewish." To the Daily News, Snooki said, "It was scary, but I'm glad nobody got hurt," while Vinny said, "It was crazy. It was loud."

Others at the party offered impressions of seems like a chaotic scene—the News has quotes like "I was inside and I thought I was going to die" and "A section of glass just shattered on us. Everyone ran out, some people were screaming" while the Post reports attendees as saying "Small pieces [of glass] fell everywhere, in my hair, on my shoes" and "This is my first and last time at one of these."
