News that neighbors thought suspected "John Doe Duffel Bag" serial killer Salvatore Perrone was pretty weird shocked no one this week. But Perrone's girlfriend told cops she didn't know Perrone was an alleged murderer, though the very duffel bag that led officers to Perrone was found in her apartment. After all, they do say love is blind!

Natasha Charova lives in Brooklyn, and her neighbors say she loves nightlife and goes dancing with a friend every Friday night. "You should see the way they dressed," a neighbor told the Post. "[Charova] would wear different wigs, and you should see the net stockings her friend had. They liked to go to the clubs." Perrone was known to join Charova, and even went dancing the night he allegedly shot shop owner Rahmatollah Vahidipour in Flatbush.

The neighbor also says Charova's relationship with Perrone was rocky, and that the two slept in different beds. This week, cops found a sawed-off .22 caliber rifle, which they suspect was used to kill Brooklyn shop owners Isaac Kadare, Mohammed Gebeli and Rahmatollah Vahidipour, in a now-infamous duffel bag in Charova's apartment. They also found nunchucks, knives and clothing, and DNA testing confirmed that one knife was used to kill Kadare.
