Four people were fatally shot, and several others wounded, in various shootings around the city last night. At least six people were shot altogether in various incidents in The Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens that all occurred between 7 p.m. and midnight on Halloween.

The violence kicked off around 7:30 p.m. when 46-year-old Shawn Rhodes was shot inside a 2002 Chrysler Voyager parked near his home in East New York. He was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital. Then around 8:30 p.m., 19-year-old Anthony Seaberry was shot in the torso on East 31st Street in East Flatbush; he was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.

Around 11 p.m., two housing officers responded to reports of shots near the Castle Hill Houses in The Bronx when a 26-year-old man shot at them. After a chase, he was fatally shot by the officers at the intersection of Randall and Olmstead Avenues. No officers were hurt during the incident.

At 11:30 p.m., 37-year-old Kevin Thompson was shot in the neck in Crown Heights; he was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital. In addition to all those fatal incidents, two people were shot in Queens at 7 and 8 p.m.; and a man was shot in the face with a BB gun in East New York. No arrests have been made in any of the incidents.
