A man was pistol whipped during an early morning robbery on Sunday morning in lower Manhattan according to police.
An NYPD spokesperson said that shortly after 3 a.m. this morning, a man at in his home in lower Manhattan answered a knock at the door, and was greeted by four men wearing ski masks who forced their way into the apartment. One of the men was armed with a gun, and he hit the victim in the forehead with it.
The four men then stole a Macbook Air, 12 Android TV boxes and a wallet before fleeing the scene, according to the cops. The victim was treated at the scene for a forehead injury, but was otherwise unharmed. The NYPD declined to give the address of the incident, but the Post reported that it took place in the Gov. Alfred E. Smith houses.
