The NYPD arrested four people after a wild brawl on the F train early Saturday morning. An NYPD spokesman says the arrests were made at the West Fourth Street station shortly before 5 a.m. The cause of the fight, which was documented on a cell phone, appears to make about as much damn sense as anything else that happens at 5 a.m. on a Saturday.

Yes, it was a pretty stupid scene, but we can all agree it's the year 2014 and it's no longer socially acceptable to be rocking one of those David Puddy Eight Ball jackets?

According to the NYPD, Jorge Pena, 25, was charged with misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct. Kevin Gil, 21, was also charged with misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct. Danay Howard, a 21-year-old female, was charged with felony assault and disorderly conduct, and Shanique Campbell, 20, was charged with misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct.

Jorge Pena was transported to the hospital with minor cuts to his face; the other suspects declined medical attention at the scene.
