Warm weather is back! The giant high pressure system that cooled us down earlier in the week has moved eastward and that means the Northeast will get a warm southwesterly breeze this afternoon. Look for mostly sunny skies and a high in the upper 50s.
The warmth will continue through the weekend but the sunshine will not. Some moisture rides in on the southwesterly wind tonight potentially bringing a few light showers tomorrow morning. Saturday's high will again be in the upper 50s. A Canadian high pressure system will briefly sweep the humidity away late tomorrow afternoon, but clouds and perhaps some fog will appear by Sunday morning.
Sunday's clouds may bring some rain but the temperature is expected to warm to the lower 60s. The better chance of rain will occur late Sunday night and into Monday morning as a strong cold front approaches. If the cold front holds off until the evening we could see a high in the mid 60s on Monday. No such luck on Tuesday as it will be back to the mid 40s.
