It was the driest of times, it was the most humid of times. It is the tale of two weather systems this weekend as a Canadian High gives way to the Bermuda High. For today that Canadian High is bringing absolutely gorgeous weather. This afternoon's high will be in the upper 70s with perhaps a few cirrus clouds toward evening.
Our cool Canadian friend will slowly move offshore tomorrow. As it does, the humidity will start to increase but Saturday will still be quite comfortable, with a high near 80 degrees.
Sunday, however, is a different story. By then the cool, dry air will be replaced by a warm, muggy air mass. Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 80s, and there will be enough moisture that we might see a few afternoon or evening thunderstorms. Labor Day and Tuesday look to be slightly warmer, perhaps even reaching 90 both days. With that heat and humidity we can't rule out afternoon showers or thunderstorms either day but right now it looks like the best chance for rain will be Monday afternoon.
