We've got one final day of beach weather today before rain moves in for the rest of the week. A high pressure system centered over northern Maine is keeping the humidity and clouds well to the south of us this afternoon. As a result we will have a mix of sun and clouds and a high near the normal of 84.

The forecast gets rather complicated overnight and into tomorrow, so let's just say that after a coolish night the high pressure system will be kicked out to sea by a much more humid air mass. That should lead to increasing cloud cover in the morning followed by showers tomorrow afternoon. The clouds and rain will keep Thursday's high to the upper 70s.

Showers and thunderstorms will be likely from Thursday night through Friday morning before tailing off on Friday afternoon. Friday's high will be somewhere in the muggy lower 80s. A weak cold front passing on Friday night should put an end to the rain and clouds but not the humidity. Look for Saturday to be warm and humid with a high in the mid 80s. It will take another front on Saturday night to wipe away the humidity leaving us with very comfortable weather on Sunday.
