A low pressure trough rotating around the low pressure system that passed just west of the city yesterday will give us overcast skies and a few showers this afternoon and evening. The overcast skies and brisk west winds will keep today's high to around 50 degrees.

Today's chilly weather is only temporary. After a cool start tomorrow, Saturday's low will be in the upper 30s; we should warm to the mid 50s as a high pressure system builds into the region.

Sunday will be even warmer, with a high in the mid 60s, and spring will really be here early next week when it warms to the lower 70s on Monday and mid to upper 70s on Tuesday. The next chance of rain will be when a cold front arrives on Wednesday.
