Troopers from three police stations were called to Six Flags Great Adventure yesterday night after nearby police had broken up several fights during a Caribbean Concert in the Northern Star Arena. State Police spokesman Sgt. Stephen Jones told NJ.com, "There were some gang members observed there, there were a couple of isolated fights and the potential for a real problem." However, none of the fights escalated, and everyone was escorted out in an orderly fashion around 10 p.m. Now that's how you stop a near riot.
