2006_12_droppedwallet.jpgTwo men were arrested after assaulting three men they got into a fight with in Flushing early Sunday morning. Manhattan residents Robert Wu and Stephen Chan, who were in a group of about 10 Asian men, allegedly got into an argument with a group of Hispanic men. Then Chan and Wu, according to the Post, hit one man with a hammer and stabbed two others. What the hell is someone doing walking around with a hammer, much less a knife? Unsurprisingly, Chan and Wu were supposedly drunk.

The three victims were in stable condition at NY Hospital Medical Center. The NY Times says the Queens DA's office is not treating this as a bias crime, though there were some "questions of whether the dispute...was racially motivated." And a source told the Post that either Chan or Wu "was busted after he returned to the scene to retrieve his dropped wallet."
