fenderbender.jpgOne teenager has been arrested and police are seeking a second suspect in the murder of a 25-year-old man shot to death following a minor traffic accident in the Bronx. Adolfo Gonzalez was shot twice in the chest early Saturday morning, after he got into a fender bender with two other vehicles.

Two cars were reportedly simultaneously making u-turns around 5 a.m. Saturday morning near White Plains Road and Morris Park Ave. in the Bronx. In an incident involving a third car, two cars bumped each other. One of the cars drove off. Gonzalez and the two men in the second car got into an altercation over the accident. Gonzalez, who remained at the scene, was later revisited by the two young men, one of whom killed him before fleeing by hailing a livery cab.

The livery cab driver later stopped to buy a cup of coffee and noticed a handgun--presumably the revolver used to kill Gonzalez--in the backseat of his car. He called the police. Cops had already apprehended one of the suspects, who bolted from the livery car when approached by officers who were suspicious of their ducking-down behavior.
