A Manhattan real estate investor and a Brooklyn skydiving instructor were killed in a freak skydiving accident on Friday. David Winoker, the 49-year-old president of Winoker Realty and 25-year-old Alexander Chulsky died after their tandem parachute apparently failed to open during a jump in upstate Ulster County. “He has three children and he’s just a wonderful, wonderful father,” friend David Simon told LoHud. “This really brings it home. It can happen at any socioeconomic level, at any time."

A friend told the Post that the jump was part of a friend’s 50th- birthday party held at Skydive The Ranch in Gardiner, NY. The funeral service for Winoker was scheduled for this morning in Bedford Corners. In addition to his wife and three children, Winoker is survived by his father Sid, who turns 83-years-old today.
