A NJ father allegedly kidnapped his two young boys after stabbing their mother to death this week, taking them from New Jersey to South Carolina and sparking an Amber Alert. The children have since been found, and the father has now been arrested.
John Jordan, 47, is accused of stabbing 39-year-old Tracy Jordan to death in the Lodi, NJ apartment she shared with her two sons, Anthony Jordan, 7, and Nicholas Jordan, 8, on Friday. Police officers say he then pulled the boys out of school and fled the state with them, prompting New Jersey State Police to issue a five-state Amber Alert.
The alert was issued at around 5 p.m. yesterday, and canceled at around 1 a.m. this morning, when Jordan was found at the Greenville, S.C. home of one of his relatives—state police say the children were recovered. Jordan has since been charged with Tracy Jordan's murder. Tracy Jordan's boyfriend, Ralph Dejulia, told reporters her divorce from Jordan was almost finalized. "He’s been abusive toward her. And, it came to this,” Dejulia told PIX 11 News.
