Earlier this morning at 3:55 a.m., a car crashed at South 4th Street and Roebling in Williamsburg. A woman was killed, after apparently being ejected from a car, and four others were injured. It's believed that the car crashed into a guardrail on a ramp to the Williamsburg Bridge.

According to NBC New York, "Only one car was involved in the accident and the woman who died was not the driver, police said... A preliminary investigation reveals the driver of the car may have lost control while moving at a high rate of speed, causing the vehicle to flip, police said."

The ramp was closed during the investigation, which is continuing. Traffic was diverted to the Manhattan Bridge.
