2006_08_facebook.jpgThe Post has the latest on the Facebook predator, Elvin Chaung, as the Manhattan DA's office added new charges. Chaung was arrested last month for posing as female Facebook members' friends and then coercing them to hand over photographs of themselves undressing. Police found hundreds of additional victims after searching the 20 year's old computer cache - "scores and scores of pictures" of the victims in "various stages of address," according to ADA Aaron Karczmer. Chaung targeted 100 women at Hunter College and 20 at Columbia, and apparently also would take "cellphone pictures of women students' buttocks" around Hunter. The Post also reports that Karczmer was able to get Chaung's bail raised from $2,500 to $35,000.
