An apparently drunk boat thief set off a panic at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal in St. George—and now police are looking for him.

The incident occurred on October 19th, around 9:36 p.m., when police say a male "docked a small boat at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, located at 1 Richmond Terrace. The individual then climbed onto the gangway and walked into a restricted area beneath the terminal before fleeing on foot towards Richmond Terrace."

NYPD sources told the Daily News the man was "extremely drunk" when he took the boat from Ken's Booming and Boat Service in Bayonne.

The suspect is described as being his mid-40s and was last seen wearing a green shirt, gray pants, and white sneakers. He is wanted for criminal trespass.
