Eugene Bostick is an 80-year-old retiree, who takes care of homeless dogs in Fort Worth, TX. + "We live down on a dead-end street, where me and my brother have a horse barn," Eugene says. "People sometimes come by and dump dogs out here, leaving them to starve. So, we started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live." + Currently he takes care of nine dogs and while they have enough space to run around and play, Eugene wanted to make them even happier. So he built a dog train where they can all go on trips together. + "Whenever they hear me hooking the tractor up to it, man, they get so excited. They all come running and jump in on their own.” -- h/t: The Dodo Video: Texas Famous / YouTube ••• @globalpositivenews @globalpositivenews @globalpositivenews . . . #caring #heartwarming #positivepsychology #globalpositivenews #news #somegoodnews #tanksgoodnews #Positivenews #positivenergy #positivity #onemillionactsofgood #kindness #kindnessmatters #randomactsofkindness #actsofkindness #elderly #elderlycare #seniorcitizen #rescuedogsrock #rescuedogsrule #dogloversclub #dogslife🐶 #dogs🐶 #selfless #selflessness #dogadventures #trainride

NYC meteorologists miss the snow as much as we do

Local meteorologists said public interest in the ongoing drought of icy flakes has, well, snowballed. But the lack of measurable snow is bad news for sledders, snow plow businesses and folks worried about a warming world.
