- Dick Kovacevich, who ran Wells Fargo & Co. until 2007, wants to see healthy workers return to work late next month if the outbreak is under control: “We’ll gradually bring those people back and see what happens. Some of them will get sick, some may even die, I don’t know."
- Things are getting really bad at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens: "In several hours on Tuesday, Dr. Ashley Bray performed chest compressions at Elmhurst Hospital Center on a woman in her 80s, a man in his 60s and a 38-year-old who reminded the doctor of her fiancé. All had tested positive for the coronavirus and had gone into cardiac arrest. All eventually died."
- The Tony Awards, which were supposed to take place at Radio City Music Hall and air on CBS on June 7th, have been postponed.
- Multiple Trader Joe's stores, including locations in SoHo, Union Square and Chelsea, have been temporarily closed because employees tested positive for COVID-19.
